In 2020, the mankind faced the global challenge, which is the COVID-19 pandemic. This is not only a threat to the health of the people, but is also a tough trial for the country’s economy, healthcare, education and culture. It is a serious threat to the lives and health of thousands of people. How prepared are various countries, including Kazakhstan, to the quarantine? What measures are being taken to solve the problems that have emerged in the economy and people’s social lives? How do the systems of healthcare, education and culture react to the new challenges? What are the threats of the new virus? How to fight it? What are the new vaccines and medications? What does the Government of Kazakhstan do to stabilize the situation in the country? What changes have taken place in the society during the pandemic?

The project offers an open conversation in an online format with highly competent and qualified specialists on relevant topics which are being discussed by the public. The presenter is Sergei Ponomaryov, a well-known journalist with many years of experience.
